Brussels, 23 August 2011 – Clear2Pay, the international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions, today announces that EMVCo, the EMV standards body owned by American Express, JCB,  MasterCard and Visa, has qualified its Integri EMV Contactless Card Type Approval Level 1 Test Suite, Version 1.0.4. The test tool is the only solution available on the market for the validation of conformity to the EMVCo specifications. The tool is used by accredited test laboratories.

To simplify implementations and enhance global interoperability of Contactless Cards, EMVCo defined a set of Level 1 test cases. Prior to commercial roll-out, contactless payment cards require official certification proving conformity to these EMVCo specifications. The Integri Test Solution for EMVCo Type Approval is now available as an off-the-shelf tool for the contactless card industry’s pre-certification and debugging needs. The Test Suite contains fully prepared reference test scenarios as defined by EMVCo.
